An Ocean Sunfish Journey: Learning about this unusual Cape Cod visitor
Wednesday, November 19 at 7 pm at Napi's Restaurant, 7 Freeman Street, Provincetown.

The ocean sunfish, Mola mola, is the heaviest bony fish in the world and a common
summer visitor to our Cape Cod waters, yet little is known about their biology and
ecology. Join Carol "Krill" Carson on a journey of exploration as she attempts
to unravel the mysteries of this bizarre looking fish that is covered in mucus,
spits at her during rescue attempts, and appears quite content to break all the
rules!
Carol "Krill" Carson is the founder and President of the New England Coastal Wildlife
Alliance [http://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?f=001dT50A5SvqrC6ZatCrMtvmKj-nz6RNzNJxPGv9QGE6l5bUFxiXmRJQLij1WLLsiTxNyW5ARmcySFNM0zVoRTVVA-jg9GLssz-MIWdikL_I1Rd1v95apjIS7YMDWqOkH4z-xEEhWgirLQmACwRdstRGNb4Urb22HZ7lgabhO2WIX4=&c=WoKEhG7HK7gEsGV29edjHC5Ebwfi6ax-4AspmW_xi8qMP8Jdcc-TDA==&ch=fPlnYT0MO5FkfrI_4X746K8pJzMs_71hB-p7bf2lGij-Ew2UymilMw==](NECWA),
a volunteer nonprofit based in southeastern Massachusetts. She is a marine biologist
who has studied whales, sea turtles, seals, basking sharks, ocean sunfish and other
marine wildlife in the waters off New England since 1980.

Fleet, Krill is now the Outreach Education Coordinator for Captain John Boats [http://r20.rs6.net/tn.jsp?f=001dT50A5SvqrC6ZatCrMtvmKj-nz6RNzNJxPGv9QGE6l5bUFxiXmRJQLij1WLLsiTxnkSqXnLnlqbibsKPtfUe1CfJF6OtICU6Sog7LpDaadHSutVoSHqhs_CaVj1BWI3eX7B76_V662JCLL2_jBnuhlNzwZe31yoynKF_ZX_wWzKRkak1LzAxlQ==&c=WoKEhG7HK7gEsGV29edjHC5Ebwfi6ax-4AspmW_xi8qMP8Jdcc-TDA==&ch=fPlnYT0MO5FkfrI_4X746K8pJzMs_71hB-p7bf2lGij-Ew2UymilMw==]
