Notice for Buzzards Bay Watershed Stakeholders:

This is a reminder that 2-page pre-proposals are due Monday, June 9, 2014 by 4:00 p.m. to the Buzzards Bay National Estuary Program
office for the Southern New England Coastal Watershed Restoration Program 2014 Nutrient Management Grants.

The focus of the Program's first year of grants is on both nitrogen loading to impaired coastal waters and habitat, and phosphorus
loading to impaired fresh waters and habitat. Funding will be for projects designed to prevent or reduce sources of nutrient
pollution, or increase the ability of partners to do so. Both large and small proposals are encouraged.

As stated in the solicitation, "projects will be sought that implement immediate action to reduce or prevent nutrient pollution, or
to develop designs or plans to prevent or reduce nutrient pollution from various sources, and to support program building in support
of these efforts." On pages 4 and 5 of the solicitation, we provide a list of eligible and ineligible projects. It is estimated that
between $500,000 and $1,000,000 will be awarded for projects in the Buzzards Bay watershed.
