Upcoming CZM Program Evaluation

Public Meeting

 

As required in Section 312 of the Coastal Zone Management Act (CZMA), the
National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) Office of Ocean and
Coastal Resource Management (OCRM) is in the process of conducting a routine
review of the Massachusetts coastal program for the period of April 2007
through September 2013. OCRM staff are evaluating the performance,
operation, and management of Massachusetts's federally approved coastal
management program and assessing how CZM is addressing the coastal
management goals of the CZMA, as well as adhering to the terms of federal
funding awards. 

 

The review includes a public meeting, consideration of written public
comments, and consultations with interested federal, state, and local
agencies, stakeholders, and members of the public. The public meeting will
be held on:
