  On Saturday, June 7th Nature Screen at the Cape 
Cod Museum of Natural History, in conjunction 
with our CCMNH Gardens ALIVE! Plant Marketplace 
day, presents the PBS documentary film, “The 
Botany of Desire”, based on the best-selling book 
by Michael Pollan.  Flowers, trees and plants. 
We've always thought that we controlled them. But 
what if, in fact, they have been shaping us? 
Using this provocative question as a jumping off 
point, The Botany of Desire takes viewers on an 
exploration of our relationship with the plant 
world – seen from the plants' point of view. The 
Botany of Desire intends to show that we humans 
don't stand outside the web of nature; we are very much a part of it.
Join us every month for compelling, educational 
and visually stunning nature documentaries that 
inspire appreciation, curiosity and stewardship 
of our natural world and its inhabitants.
