CONFERENCE ON ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH (May 15)
A conference on breast cancer and the environment will take place on Thursday, May 15th. This event will begin at 5:00 pm and it will continue until 8:00 pm. The event is sponsored by the Silent Spring Institute and the Massachusetts Breast Cancer Coalition.

The May 15th conference will take place at the Unitarian Universalist church in Falmouth. The church is located at 840 Sandwich Road, in East Falmouth. The building is easily accessible for people with disabilities.
This year marks the 50th anniversary of Rachel Carson's death from breast cancer.... Julia Brody, MD, will speak about environmental influences and breast cancer. A panel discussion will review safe drinking water issues and their relevance to breast cancer.
The Sierra Club will have an exhibit with information about "chemicals of emerging concern" and Cape Cod drinking water.
