Naturescape Gallery at the Cape Cod Museum of 
Natural History is proud to present   artist 
Nancy Ellen Craig. Nancy Ellen is considered one 
of America’s greatest portrait artists whose work 
is compared to John Singer Sargent and Thomas 
Eakins.  For more than 40 years, both in Europe 
and America, she has painted kings, queens, and 
celebrities from every realm.  Throughout Nancy’s 
career she has forayed into different genres 
utilizing mural sized canvasses and being 
inspired by myth & religion, dream drawings, and 
political subjects.  Her love of the Cape Cod 
landscape and the natural world in general, is 
another genre that is inspirational to Nancy and 
the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History is proud 
to exhibit in our Naturescape Gallery this June 
and July just some of these fascinating paintings 
by one of Cape Cod’s hidden treasures.
