Spring has finally arrived, and we look forward to welcoming you to a new season
 of activities and events here at the Center for Coastal Studies!
Wednesday April 2 at 7 pm - Lecture: Bowhead Whales and the Alaskan Arctic
Presented by Corey Accardo, CCS Flight Coordinator. Learn about the natural history
of the bowhead whale, the complex relationship between the whales and the Native
 Alaskans, and effects of the changing arctic environment on the animals, land and
people. Join CCS naturalists as we learn about and search the shore for rare North Atlantic
right whales. Tables for 8 are available for $750. Proceeds support the Ruth Hiebert Memorial
