If you missed the highly regarded presentation by award-winning artist,
  author and naturalist, James Prosek in 2013, he 
is making a return visit to the
Cape Cod Museum of Natural History on Friday, July 25th
for a day of activities for children and adults!

Walking in the footsteps and customs of John J. 
Audubon, Prosek’s compelling and inspired natural 
history paintings, watercolors and taxidermied 
specimens have been exhibited in prominent 
galleries including The Gerald Peters Gallery, 
The Addison Gallery of American Art, The National 
Academy of Sciences in Washington, D.C. & he is 
the 2012 recipient of the Gold Medal for 
Distinction in Natural History Art from the 
Academy of Natural Sciences in Philadelphia.

Schedule of Events

1pm – James Prosek reads from his children’s 
book, “Bird, Butterfly, Eel” with an inspired art project to follow.
2:30pm – Nature Screen presents Prosek’s PBS 
documentary film, “The Mystery of Eels”
4pm – A DO NOT MISS meet & greet, lecture with 
wine & cheese followed by a book signing.

1pm & 2:30pm events Free with Museum Admission / 
4pm ~ Members $10 / Non-Members $15
