Here’s a special opportunity for you trackers and beach-lovers!
On June 29, C. Diane Boretos, co-author of Bird Tracks and Signs: A Guide to North American Species, will lead a two-hour field trip on Plymouth Long Beach. It runs from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
She will talk about barrier beach ecology and share some of her secrets to deciphering the messages birds and other wildlife leave behind with their tracks, feathers, droppings and more.
This is a unique chance to learn from a master tracker and to see many of the cute chicks that are running about (piping plover, least tern, willet and more)! To sign up visit: goldenrod.org/blog/events/barrier-beach-ecology-and-wildlife-track-and-sign-hike
