*SPECIAL PEANUT BUTTER CLUB AT WOODS HOLE OCEANOGRAPHIC 
INSTITUTION:*//On Friday, August 1, at noon in Redfield Auditorium, 45 
Water Street, Woods Hole, the Peanut Butter Club presents a talk by Dena 
Seidel, the director of Rutgers University Center for Digital 
Filmmaking. Seidel is also the director/producer of a new film, 
/Antarctica Beyond the Ice/, which features work by scientists involved 
in the transformative NSF-funded Long Term Ecological Research (LTER) 
Project at Palmer

the West Antarctic Peninsula. Seidel and the film's co-producer Steve 
Holloway will discuss the challenges of making a film in Antarctica and 
what it's like to work with a group of scientists committed to 
understanding this region. They will also discuss the program at Rutgers 
designed to engage students in communicating science through film.
