Monday, July 28 at 5 pm on Town Beach, Provincetown (behind the Crowne and Anchor)

Use anything you can find to build a watercraft that will carry you and your team
to the finish line! Registration is $50 per boat/team and prizes will be awarded
 based on ingenuity, aesthetics, costumes, and speed.

Participants will also be awarded bonus points for retrieving marine debris during
the race, and there is a special prize for the team that raises the most money for
the Center. All proceeds support CCS education programs. Don't want to build a boat?
Come on down and cheer on the competitors. Hilarity guaranteed!

Monday, July 28 at 11 am at the Hiebert Marine Lab, 5 Holway Avenue, Provincetown

Step inside Delilah, an inflatable, life-sized North Atlantic right whale, and learn
all about these rare and amazing animals. Suggested donation $3, no reservations
 required.

Whale Week's Amazing Race
Tuesday, July 29 at 10:30 am, various locations

Teams compete in a unique scavenger hunt around some of Provincetown's iconic landmarks.
$30 per team of 4, includes admission to the Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum.
 Great prizes, and great fun!

Tidal Flats Exploration

Wednesday July 30 at 8:30 am at the West End

Every twelve hours the waters of Provincetown Harbor retreat to reveal an exciting
world of hidden creatures. Join us on the beach and discover the secrets of the 
tidal flats! Suggested donation $3, no reservations required. Meet at the West End
Breakwater near the Provincetown Inn at 1 Commercial Street.

Whale Photography Workshop

Wednesday, July 30 at 2 pm, location varies

Presented by award-winning photographer and CCS Education Director Jesse Mechling.
Workshop includes classroom session and sunset whale watch.  $85 fee, reservations

Lecture: The Whales of Cape Cod

Thursday, July 31 at 11 am at Province Lands Visitor Center, Race Point Road.

Learn about the numerous species of whales that frequent the waters surrounding

Friday, August 2 at 10 am at the Bas Relief Park, Bradford Street.
