Mass Audubon
Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary
Development Officer
(3/4 Time)
Mass Audubon's Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary seeks an experienced and enthusiastic development professional to serve as Development Officer for this dynamic and growing wildlife sanctuary. The Sanctuary has experienced steady growth over its 7-year history, and in the last year has quintupled the number of local students served by its school education programs.
The Development Officer will implement the development program, including annual leadership donors, major gifts, capital campaigns, special events, grant writing, marketing and development operations. With a new strategic plan in place, and a very successful 2013 year, the Sanctuary is well-positioned for the next phase of its growth.
The position reports to the Development Director for Wellfleet Bay and Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuaries, works closely with Long Pasture staff, and is part of a team of Mass Audubon philanthropy professionals across the state.
Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary overlooks Barnstable Harbor and serves the Mid and Upper Cape from the Cape Cod Canal to Bass River. Mass Audubon is among the oldest and most respected conservation organizations in Massachusetts, and its nearly 100 wildlife sanctuaries serve 100,000 members and 500,000 visitors annually.

Long Pasture looks forward to welcoming its new Development Officer this month.
