> Announcement of Ocean Science and Technology Class Field Trip Opportunities in Woods Hole:

> We are pleased to announce that once again we will host class field trips in Woods Hole during which students go out on a hands-on scientific cruise on Vineyard Sound and tour some of the laboratory facilities in Woods Hole. Over 4000 middle, high school and college students have participated in this program in the past three years. (see our website www.zephyrmarine.net ). We particularly emphasize engineering technology used in oceanographic research, career paths, and some of the research projects currently underway here.

> A trip description is attached. For an idea of what the trips are like, you may view the three YouTube clips linked at the bottom of that page.This year we are adding a component to our trip in which we will also search for sunken wrecks near Woods Hole with a side scan sonar system.
