Title - Getting it Right for the Right Whale: How New Technologies are Saving Whales

What - Kickoff talk in new series called Making Waves in Coastal Conservation featuring young up-and-coming experts in southeastern Massachusetts who are making their marks in conservation

When - Weds., Feb. 26, 7:30 pm - 8:30 pm (doors open at 7 pm)

Where - 204 Long Pond Road, Plymouth, MA (new headquarters of Southeastern Massachusetts Pine Barrens Alliance)

Details - Goldenrod Foundation is sponsoring a series of talks that present new technologies, research results, ideas or paradigms in coastal conservation. First up is Lindsay Hirt, a conservation advocate with passion for, knowledge of, and experience with marine mammals. She will speak about new monitoring technology that, combined with smartphone applications, is revolutionizing how ship captains avoid collisions with right whales. Join us for this fun, empowering and fascinating talk.
