New Year's Day Walk

at The Let Conservation Area

The Let Conservation Area is truly a hidden gem.

This 62-acre parcel stretches between the Westport River and Horseneck Road and 
is only accessible to the public by the water's edge.

Except for today!

Come ring in the New Year with WLCT on this special property.

There are miles of wide trails to explore, so plan to walk approximately 3 miles
 over potentially uneven terrain. Wear comfortable sturdy shoes.

The walk will be cancelled in the event of snow, rain, or temperatures below 15 
degrees.

This walk is free and open to the public.

Free parking will be available at Sylvan Nursery, 1028 Horseneck Road.

Dress for the weather. Water is recommended.

Since its founding in 1972, the Westport Land Conservation Trust has  assisted landowners
in protecting more than 3,988 acres in Westport,  Massachusetts. WLCT is a private
non-governmental organization dedicated  to local land conservation on behalf of
 the Westport community. The  organization accepts gifts of land and conservation
restrictions on  land, and assists farm owners in preserving farmland with agricultural
 preservation restrictions.
