16th International Conference on Shellfish Restoration:
Restoration in an Ever-Changing World

December 10-13, 2014
Charleston, SC, USA

ICSR'14 Oral and Poster Abstract Submittal Guidelines
Abstracts Deadline September 29, 2014

Abstracts for oral and poster presentations are now being accepted online for consideration by the ICSR’14 Conference Steering Committee. Submissions are welcomed from anyone with experience in shellfish research, management, restoration, or outreach. The conference organizers encourage contributing authors to present their work as posters as an alternative to oral presentations in order to minimize the need for concurrent sessions. Please refer to the Program Themes section of this sitehttp://www.scseagrant.org/Content/?cid=330 to review and select from the ICSR’14 topics/areas of emphasis.

Please use the ICSR’14 online abstract submittal form, which can be found at http://www.scseagrant.org/submittalform.htm. The deadline for receipt of your completed electronic abstract form is Monday, September 29, 2014. Prepare a separate form for each abstract submitted. Abstracts submitted using other formats will not be accepted. Be sure the title and author(s) are correctly entered since the information you provide will be used in preparing the conference program.

Abstracts will be evaluated by the ICSR’14 Conference Steering Committee on merit and relevance to the conference program goals. All submissions will be acknowledged via email. Decisions on acceptance will be communicated to the corresponding author by Friday, October 17, 2014.

A book of abstracts will be prepared as part of the conference program and made available to all ICSR’14 delegates at the conference. ICSR’14 abstracts will also be submitted to the Journal of Shellfish Research for possible publication.

Please note that all oral and poster presenters will be responsible for registering for the conference and covering their travel expenses.

For any questions concerning your abstract, contact Rick DeVoe at rick.devoe at scseagrant.org or (843) 953-2078.

For questions or issues relating to the electronic submission form, contact Andrea Sassard atandrea.sassard at scseagrant.org or (843) 953-2078.

We hope to see you in Charleston, South Carolina, and are looking forward to your contributions to create a diverse and successful ICSR conference program.
