Local author and photographer Elliott Carr has documented the herring's perilous journey to the Stony Brook Grist Mill in Brewster and recently published a new photography book, Herring Run: Life and Death at Stony Brook. Join Elliott for a special presentation about the natural history of the herring distinguished by his beautiful photography. Books will be available for purchase and signing after the program. Every Turtle Counts
Sunday, April 27, 3 - 4 p.m.
Every Turtle Counts, a new children's book by Sara Hoagland Hunter, is the touching story of one special seven-year-old's rescue of a rare sea turtle from a Cape Cod beach. Please join us for a special presentation and reading by the author, followed by a question-and-answer period with our sanctuary director Bob Prescott.
