> What better place to celebrate Earth Day than on a Vineyard beach? The 22ndannual VCS Earth Day Beach Clean-up will take place on Saturday, April 19th, from 10 am to noon. Please join us for a morning of fun and environmental service as we kick off spring with a renewed appreciation for the natural beauty of our Island. There's no need to register or call ahead -- just come out to your favorite beach (see list below) where volunteers will be waiting with everything you need.
>
> This year's after-party returns to the Harbor View Hotel. From 12 to 2 pm, you can compare your treasure hunting stories while enjoying treats from the Harbor View and Scottish Bakehouse. There will also be a free raffle for gift certificates to Bunch of Grapes for the kids, and a garden basket from S.B.S. for the adults.
