**The Southeastern Massachusetts Pine Barrens Alliance (SEMPBA) is anon-profit volunteer organization dedicated to preserving the globally rare eco-region of southeastern Massachusetts. Our goal is to foster a regional approach to initiatives that will bring greater human and economic resources to the region to strengthen conservation efforts and raise awareness. We believe that by building an alliance of environmental groups for the sharing of resources and information, establishing a clearinghouse for research data, and serving as facilitators for conservation groups, businesses and government agencies, we can best serve the environment and the environmental community.
