[Friends of Mashpee NWR]

Please join the Friends of Mashpee Wildlife Refuge at their 18th Annual
Meeting Saturday, Oct 19th at 2pm at the Waquoit Bay Research Reserve in
East Falmouth. Our speaker will be Ron Lasko who will share his 25 years of
fishing tales, conservational insights and outstanding pictures about the
Quashnet and Mashpee Rivers. These two very important and historical rivers
are located within the Mashpee Wildlife Refuge. The Wildlife Refuge aquisition
boundary is located in both the towns of Falmouth and Mashpee; a total of
5,871 acres, the second largest open and accessible land on the Cape, the
first being the National Seashore. The Friends will hold a brief annual
meeting after Ron's presentation. Please join the Friends in celebrating
another successful year!
