For immediate release


The Cape Cod Bird Club (CCBC) is offering a $995 full-tuition scholarship for a Cape Cod
school student 14 through 17 years old (inclusive) to attend a bird-watching and natural
history camp operated by Project Puffin--a program of the National Audubon Society during
June of 2014 in Maine.

We are looking to find a worthy candidate. The successful student will
receive a full-tuition scholarship to attend the Coastal Maine Bird Studies for Teens
course, which will run June 22-27, 2014, at the Hog Island Audubon Camp, Bremen, Maine,
which is about 50 miles north of Portland along the coast. See the following link for

Scholarship applicants must be residents of Cape Cod and must return their application
with a 250 to 500 word essay by January 6, 2014, to:
