Lecture: Giants in our Backyard - Spring has returned and so have our
 humpbacks!

Wednesday, May 29 at 7 pm at Napi's, 7 Freeman Street, Provincetown

Jenn Tackaberry, research assistant in the PCCS Humpback Whale Studies
Program, will discuss the Center's three-decades-long study of humpback
whales. She will cover the basic biology and behavior of humpbacks, and
will delve into the detailed research that has occurred in the North
Atlantic as well as the Pacific Ocean by the Center’s staff and their
collaborators. Genetics, migration routes, entanglements, and conservation
issues are just some of the topics that will be covered during the talk.

Participants are strongly encouraged to arrive between 5 pm and 6 pm to
take advantage of Napi’s special early bird dinner menu.

This is the last of the Center for Coastal Studies’ new Winter Lecture
Series, which is sponsored in part by Napi's Restaurant. Free, donations
