Buzzards Bay Coalition hosts Itty Bitty Bay Explorers for families with
young children
Get your little ones to discover the outdoors through the Buzzards Bay
Coalition’s Itty Bitty Bay Explorers program, a series of four free outings
on Wednesdays in May and June. Through fun games and hands-on activities,
your whole family can learn about Buzzards Bay’s animals, plants and
habitats.
Itty Bitty Bay Explorers is recommended for families with young children.
We encourage you to attend all four programs, but it is not required.
Dates and Locations:
- Wednesday, May 29: "Prepare for Exploration" at the Buzzards Bay
Center's Richard C. Wheeler Bay Learning Center
- Wednesday, June 5: "Salt Marsh Exploration" at Little Bay Marsh
(off Edgewater Street in Fairhaven)
- Wednesday, June 12: "Forest Investigation" at Nasketucket Bay
State Reservation (Brandt Island Road, Mattapoisett)
- Wednesday, June 19: "Beach Discovery" at Fairhaven Town Beach
(end of Fir Street on West Island)
