Portuguese Man-of-War Warning/Awareness Signs Now Available from     Woods Hole Sea Grant

In response to the recent appearance of Portuguese Man-of-Wars in area waters, Woods Hole Sea Grant has produced a warning/awareness sign suitable for posting by beach departments, municipal officials, etc., when they are spotted.

Printed on durable water-resistant paper, the 17”x11” sign is bright yellow for visibility and can be easily deployed and removed as needed. It also includes a blank area for local authorities to write messages specific to their location in permanent marker. An example is attached.
