The Center for Coastal Studies in Provincetown announces *Whale Week: A
Celebration of the Sea!* Family friendly activities every day during the
week of July 29 through August 2.

Visit "Upcoming Events" link at *www.coastalstudies.org* for details on the
week's activities, which include:

The kick-off event, a homemade boat race Monday, July 29, at 5:00pm is a
true hoot and not to be missed. Get to the beach behind the Crown and
Anchor (247 Commercial St.) EARLY for good viewing position.
*Volunteers* are needed at the Center for Coastal Studies outreach booth,
7/29 - 8/2, to help make this week a success!
Whale enthusiasts needed for three-four hours shifts between 11 a.m. and 5
p.m. Must enjoy working with the public, becoming familiar with our various
research projects, and love being outdoors several hours at a time outside
in summer sun and breeze on the pier. It also would be helpful if you like
to crack jokes and have a passion for Cape Cod Bay and the sea around us.
Volunteers should be at least 18 years old. Please contact Beth Larson at
elarson at coastalstudies.org.
