Another adventurous summer on Barnstable's southern waters, featuring entertaining
and educational programs hosted by Three BaysPreservation, Inc., gets underway this
month with special events offered to the public.

Family Paddle Day

Family Paddle Day is an evening of exciting events on Osterville's Dowses Beach 
offering the public an opportunity to enjoy the aquatic sports of kayaking and the
popular and challenging fun of the sport of paddle boarding, as part of "Paddle 
for the Bays" on Thursday, July 18, 2013 from 5:30-8:00 pm at Dowses Beach (East
 Bay Road) in Osterville, Mass.  It is a time to join with family and friends in
 paddling the local waters - to learn the exciting sports of kayaking and SUP (stand-up
paddle-boarding).  Participants may use equipment available at the event site, or
bring their own.  Admission to "Family Paddle Day" is $10.00 for adults, $5.00 for
children from 8-12 and those less than 8 years of age are admitted free with all
 proceeds to benefit the programs of Three Bays Preservation, Inc.  Tickets are

beyond.

Bayside Explorers

Each Wednesday in July & August, rain or shine, beginning Wednesday, July 10th, 
join Three Bays Preservation and our "Bayside Explorers" for an outing with ecologists
and marine scientists along the shores of the bay. Discover the many miracles taking
place at the edge of our waters.  Meet at Dowses Beach - East Bay Road - in Osterville.
 Starting times vary each week, according to the tides.  It's FREE for all!  Call

Get on the Boat

Join with Three Bays Preservation aboard one of our exciting, 90 minute Eco-Adventure
Cruises on Barnstable's Three Bays.  It's the closest you'll get to a hands-on look
at the fragile aquatic eco-system we live in.  Two cruises are scheduled on each
 of two Sundays - Sunday, July 14th and Sunday, August 18th, at 11:00 am and at 
2:00 pm.  The boat departs from the Cotuit Town Landing.
Adults are $25.00 and Children (12 and under) are $15.00.  Call us for tickets at
