Dear butterfly watchers and other friends:

Saturday, July 13, is the first of 4 butterfly counts
for the North American Butterfly Association.

It is an important event which needs a
  few enthusiastic counters.

We meet at 9 am on Saturday, we record every butterfly of every
species that we see, we go to several sites in Truro and
Provincelands, and we have a great time !!

Starting near the Highland Lighthouse we prowl the nearby golf
course, then move on to several garden spots followed by Pilgrim
Heights and Hatches Harbor. Enticing?

There are three excellent butterfliers who need several more pairs of
eyes, and who promise an exciting hunt.

Please join us if you can. Bring binoculars, lunch, all protection
for sunburn and poison ivy (not promised to meet up with poison ivy),
and a sense of adventure.

The other counts are just as good, so join us whenever you can.
Please let us know if you are coming.
