GROUNDHOG DAYS ON CAPE COD
Environmentalists on Cape Cod have celebrated groundhogs - in our region, they're called "woodchucks" - for several years.
Several programs are planned for this year's Groundhog Days..... including.....
Singalong and Community Dinner: (Wednesday, February 6th,) Festivities at the Unirarian Universalist meetinghouse in Falmouth. Starts at 6:00 pm. Musical event with folk singers Brian Kelly and Nancy Wendtlandt. The event is free but a collection will be taken to help support the Housing Assistance Corporation on Cape Cod.
The Unitarian Universalist meetinghouse is located at 840 Sandwich Road in East Falmouth. The building is easily accessible for people with disabilities. For additional information, please

Climate Change Presentations: (Saturday, February 9th.) What should religious groups do in response to climate change? Program starts at 7:00 pm. Presentations by Rev. Deborah Warner, who is the Episcopal minister in Woods Hole, and Rev. Bob Murphy, who is a Unitarian Universalist minister. This program will take place at the Unitarian Universalist meetinghouse in Falmouth.
The February 9th event is free. All people invited. It's part of the national "preach in" on religion and climate change, scheduled for early February. Supported by the Sierra Club and
