[SEMCO] Class Field Trips to Woods Hole

Announcement of Ocean Science Class Field Trip Opportunities to Woods Hole:

We are pleased to announce that once again we will host class field trips in Woods Hole during which students go out on a hands-on scientific cruise on Vineyard Sound and tour some of the laboratory facilities at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution. Over 2300 students have participated in this program in the past two years. (see our website www.zephyrmarine.net )

A trip description is attached. For an idea of what the trips are like, you may view the three YouTube clips linked at the bottom of that page.This year we are adding a component to our trip in which we will also search for sunken wrecks near Woods Hole with a side scan sonar system. 

We have also attached some of the written comments from teachers and students we received in 2012. Dates for spring trips tend to fill up fast, so please contact us sooner than later.
