Ocean Science and Technology Field Trips in Woods Hole

Zephyr Education Foundation is again hosting hands-on science and technology field trips in Woods Hole. Your students will participate in an on-the-water hands-on scientific cruise using field equipment and instrumentation as used in the research laboratories here. We also lead a behind the scenes tour of one of the labs. A day in Woods Hole gives students a great sense of the exciting activities and career paths in ocean science and technology. A trip description is attached. Also attached is a summary of some of the written feedback we have received from teachers and students.

Over 4000 students have participated in our program in the last 3 years. Our programs address college, high school or middle school levels.

We now have new offices in Woods Hole that serve as a base of operations for your class. Because we have more open dates in the fall, we encourage teachers to consider planning now.
