Sunday, May 19 at 2 pm the Friends of the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History will present At Home with Native Plants, Rain Gardens and Cape Cod ’s Natural Landscape with Amanda Sloan and Tobias Wolf, landscape architects.

Amanda Sloan and Tobias Wolf will show design strategies you can use to 

make your home landscape more beautiful, inviting, and alive. 



Toby will show how designers and homeowners can use native plants to create 

habitat, purify stormwater, and save energy, all while creating a well-grounded 

sense of place. Amanda will focus on small-scale rain gardens for the home 

landscape. She will discuss how rain gardens work, how to build them, and how 

to use native plants to create rain gardens that reflect their Cape Cod setting, 

add beauty, and provide bird and butterfly habitat at your home.
