Join our efforts to learn more about horseshoe crabs on Cape Cod by tagging crabs with us at Priscilla Landing in Orleans. We'll observe horseshoe crabs coming up on the beach to spawn at high tide, and talk about their behavior, biology, conservation, and management while we tag and count them. You'll learn how to use the drill, tags, and calipers, plus get an up-close look at these amazing creatures! This program is great for all ages!
Sharing our Shores: The Return of Gray Seals to Cape Cod
7 - 8 p.m.

It seems like there are more seals on Cape Cod than ever before. Lisa Sette, a researcher and member of the Marine Animal Entanglement Response Team at the Provincetown Center for Coastal Studies, is investigating the movements, site fidelity, and entanglement rates of gray seals using photo-identification. In this presentation, you will learn about her current research on gray seals, their fascinating life history, and their return to the shores of Cape Cod.
