We invite you to meet the goats and cows of Circle Back Farm with Don and Tanya and learn what sustainability really means on a farm. Also join us as we seek whirling woodcocks and Hike Sandy Neck for signs of spring!

Take a Nigerian Dwarf Goat for a hike and meet goats who will be "kidding" this spring. Discover goat life cycles, social lives and, of course, personalities!

Milk Magic: Meet The Cow Girls!

 Discover the udderly amazing way cows turn grasses into milk. Meet Mabel and Olive, our resident Bovines and learn the answer to that burning question, "What is a cow pie really?"

Look! It's a bird! It's a plane! Hey wait, it is a bird. Woodcocks take center stage at sunset and twirl like ballerinas - only a little awkwardly.

Celebrate Spring on Sandy Neck

 Wednesday, April 17th, 10 am - 12 pm

Sandy Neck awakens in April as Ospreys return to rebuild their bulky stick nests atop poles. Endangered Piping Plovers scour the vast beach for the ideal spot to scratch their simple nests. Rare Spadefoot Toads rush to breed in ephemeral pools in the dunes which will soon dry and disappear. Celebrate these signs of spring with Ian Ives, Director of Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary, and Nina Coleman, Manager at Sandy Neck, as your guides through the spectacular landscape of Sandy Neck.
