Chatham Conservation Commission invites you to 

 

Meadowscaping - A Recipe for Healthy Urban & Suburban Landscapes

Saturday, October 13th , 8:30 - 11:30 a.m. 

at the Chatham Community Center, 702 Main Street.

 

The Town of Chatham Conservation Commission will host a free program on
landscaping with conservation in mind, featuring Author and Director of
Photography Catherine Zimmerman.  The title of Ms. Zimmerman's talk is
Meadowscaping - A Recipe for Healthy Urban & Suburban Landscapes.  Other
presenters include Tim Boland, Executive Director of Polly Hill
Arboretum, Claudia Thompson, Executive Director of Grow Native
Massachusetts, and Ed DeWitt, Executive Director of the Association to
Preserve Cape Cod (APCC). Native plants play a critical role in our
local ecology and can be effectively used in landscapes to provide
beauty, a sense of place, natural habitat, and also serve to keep both
our environment and us healthy.  For more information contact the
