[SEMCO] Reminder: Turtle talk to benefit Bourne Community Boating

Dear colleagues,
 This note is a reminder that Henry Milliken, fisheries biologist with NOAA
Fisheries in Woods Hole, MA, will take place today (Friday, May 4) at 6:00
PM at the Canal Club, downstairs from the Trowbridge Tavern, off the Bourne
Rotary, 100 Trowbridge Rd, Bourne MA.
  Mr. Milliken's talk will highlight cooperative research with fishermen,
including local scallop fishermen, to develop better commercial fishing
gear that will reduce the accidental catch of protected species including
sea turtles.  Admission is free, but donations are gratefully accepted.
 Bourne Community Boating is a non-profit organization committed to
providing the opportunity to people of all ages, abilities and background
to enrich their lives through on-the-water educational and recreational
experiences.
