The Double-Crested Cormorant, Symbol of Ecological Conflict 

Author Dennis Wild

Thursday, June 21, 7:30 - 8:30 pm

$5 Member/ $7 Non-member

Author Dennis Wild joins us to share the struggle of the double-crested
cormorant whose interests often compete with our own. His talk will give
you insight into cormorant biology, natural history and behavior in the
four ecological worlds in which they live (air, land, on the water, and
under water). The author will also deliver a balanced look at the impact
that humans, and climate and terrain changes, have made on cormorants,
and the conflicts this species is likely to face going forward. Books
will be available for purchase and signing.
