The Marion Natural History Museum is offering a couple of unique, part-time employment opportunities for educators.  
We are looking for an astronomer who is interested in sharing his/her knowledge with elementary school-age children using the Museum's portable Starlab planetarium.  Applicant must be able to pack, lift and transport the equipment to schools. Some educational background with elementary school children is preferred.  
In addition the museum is looking for one educational assistant and one lead teacher for our summer coastal programs for young children.  This is a part-time position, 9 - 12 Monday through Friday for two 2-week sessions, one in July and one in August.  Some knowledge of marine sciences and experience with teaching young children is helpful.
