Dear Colleagues:

The 2014 National Sea Grant College Program Dean John A. Knauss Marine
Policy Fellowship competition is now open. A PDF copy of the RFP is
attached and can also be found at http://www.seagrant.noaa.gov/knauss/
<http://www.seagrant.noaa.gov/knauss/> under "how to apply." The
application *deadline is Friday, February 15, 2013.*

The Knauss fellowship provides a unique educational experience to
students who have an interest in ocean and coastal resources, and in the
national policy decisions affecting those resources. The program
matches highly qualified graduate students with "hosts" in the
legislative and executive branches of government located in the
Washington, D.C. area for a one-year, paid fellowship.

The Knauss is open to any student, regardless of citizenship, who, on
February 15, 2013, is enrolled in a graduate or professional program in
a marine or aquatic-related field at a United States-accredited
institution of higher education. Applications are submitted to the
state Sea Grant program where the student resides. For Massachusetts,
students may apply through either the MIT or Woods Hole Sea Grant
Programs. For submission through

Grant, please direct inquiries to Judith E. McDowell (Email:
