Have you always wanted to learn more about Geocaching? Or, how to get started on this great hobby?
Join us on Saturday, April 7th to learn the Geocache basics, how to get started, how to find a Geocache in your area or anywhere in the world! We'll spend a little time learning about the Waquoit Bay Reserve properties and mission. If you're new to geocaching with questions to ask, there will be plenty of experienced geocachers to help you find an answer! Light refreshments served.

Horseshoe Crab Natural History and Status

Join Dan Gibson (Worcester Polytechnic Institute) and Vincent Malkowski (Mass Marine Fisheries) for an informative talk about this unique and valuable animal along with a status report detailing survey data on horseshoe crab populations and management efforts in Massachusetts and beyond. Seating- first come basis. Co-sponsored by the Friends of the Mashpee National Wildlife Refuge. $5.00 donation appreciated.
