Spring Vacation Activities and Events
Wednesday, April 18 at 11 am
*MEET DELILAH!*
Take a tour through Delilah, an inflatable, life-sized North Atlantic Right
Whale, and learn all about these rare and amazing animals.
PCCS Hiebert Marine Lab, 5 Holway Avenue, Provincetown.
Free, donations welcome.
Wednesday April 18 at 3 pm and Thursday, April 19 at 2 pm
*WHALE WATCHING WALK AT HERRING COVE!*
It’s right whale season, and the perfect time to see these rare,
magnificent animals from the shore! Meet at the parking lot at Herring
Cove Beach, Provincetown. Free, donations always welcome.
Friday, April 20 from 9 am – 11 am, Saturday April 21 from 10 am – 4 pm
*EARTH DAY TRASH-A-THON!*
*Presented in association with the Cape Cod Wildlife Collaborative,
BeStrawFree Campaign and Appearances: Green Arts Festival.*
A ten mile, two-day beach clean-up from Herring Cove to MacMillan Pier! The
goal? To collect a TON of trash!
Working with local artists, trash collected during the two days will be
used to create a sculpture that will be displayed on MacMillian Pier in
Provincetown as part of the Appearances Green Arts Festival. Join us for
part or the entire cleanup, or pledge your support of a $.01 per pound of
trash collected to one of the participating organizations.
- Friday – Herring Cove Clean-up! Meet at Herring Cove parking lot at 9
am.
- Saturday – Long Point Clean-Up! Meet at the West End Parking Lot on
Commercial Street, Provincetown at 10 am or noon for a shuttle to Long
Point.
- Saturday – Provincetown Town Beach Clean-up! Meet at the West End
Breakwater at 2:30 pm.
Thursday April 26 at 7 pm
*BAG IT! Free movie screening*
Is your life too plastic? That's the question asked in this award-winning,
family-friendly documentary about plastic and its effect on our
environment, our ecosystem and ourselves. Presented at the Harbor Hotel,
698 Commercial Street, Provincetown.
Free, donations welcome!
