The MIT Sea Grant College Program is now accepting Team Intent
Forms<http://seagrant.mit.edu/BLB-2012-intentform.pdf>from
Massachusetts teachers who want to bring a team to the Blue Lobster
Bowl!
The Blue Lobster Bowl <http://seagrant.mit.edu/blb.php>, Massachusetts'
regional marine science quiz bowl, is one of the 25 annual regional
competitions that comprise the National Ocean Sciences Bowl (NOSB)
competition. During the full-day competition, teams of high school students
are quizzed on their knowledge of ocean science subjects including
chemistry, biology, engineering, history, ecology, climate change, and
weather.
The Blue Lobster Bowl includes up to 24 teams from Massachusetts high
schools.* We welcome new schools and offer a mentor partnering program*, in
which new coaches can be paired with experienced coaches or MIT Grad
students who will help team members with their study skills.
