Paddle for the Bays - II

On Saturday, September 10th from 10:00am to 3:00pm, we will be hosting our second
"Paddle for the Bays" at Dowse's Beach, East Bay Road in Osterville.  So, if you
 missed the first one in July, here is your chance to learn the fun sport of Stand
Up Paddling!  Along with Stand Up and Paddle Cape Cod, Eastern Mountain Sports and
Sea Sports of Cape Cod, we are again offering you the chance to "get out to the 
water".  Adult tickets are $10, children from 8-12 are $5, and under the age of 
8 is FREE!!!
It's another "Call to Arms" to grab a paddle and to get closer to the waters.  All
are invited to come PADDLE together on the bay and the river.  Bring your own kayak,
canoe or paddleboard - or paddle one of ours.  There will be instruction and demos
and it's all to benefit the many programs of Three Bays Preservation.

Paddle For the Bays: Race - Cape cod

It's a test of speed and a test of endurance on a 5.0+ mile course through Cape 
Cod's beautiful Three Bays.
Paddle for the Bays:  RACE Cape Cod invites all ages and all levels of energetic
 paddlers to compete in this spirited challenge on the tranquil waters of the Town
of Barnstable's West Bay, Cotuit Bay and North Bay - in an event entitling the winners
to be designated "The Best on Cape Cod".  This 2011 inaugural race is for both kayakers
and paddleboarders - each category offering three classes with prizes of cash and
merchandise.
The RACE will launch from Osterville's Wianno Yacht Club on Saturday, September 
24th, with a mandatory RACE meeting starting at 8:00am.  An awards luncheon follows
at nearby Nauticus Marina.  Spectators may be admitted to the Gallery for the RACE
and the Awards Luncheon for a fee.  All proceeds are to benefit the programs of 
Three Bays Preservation, Inc.  Registration, rules and complete information for
