Mass Audubon’s Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary is pleased to invite you to a free community event.

 

Saturday, June 4

Sun-sational Power Day

 

Free admission for all ▪ Family Programming ▪ Solar energy demonstrations and exhibits

 

10 a.m. Flip the Switch Dedication ceremony for our new 41kW photovoltaic array with State Senator Dan Wolf, Mass Audubon CFO Banks Poor, and WBWS Sanctuary Director Bob Prescott

 

10:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. Solar Energy Fair Hands-on, kid-friendly activities; raffles, prizes, and food; exhibitors include Alteris, Cotuit Solar, SunWind, Cape Light Compact, New England Green, and Blue Selenium Solar. 

 

11 a.m. - Noon Green Building Tour Guided tour of our LEED platinum-certified nature center. 

 

2 – 3:30 p.m. Discovery Trail Hike Guided walk on our beautiful trails!
