[SEMCO] Free May Programs at Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary

Mass Audubon's Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary is pleased to invite you
to a slate of free adult and children's programming this May.
Every Tuesday, 10 - 11 a.m. through May 24
Feeder Central: Converse with a naturalist and spy on the birds at our
feeders while enjoying coffee and pastries inside the nature center.
Saturday, May 14
Celebration Saturday: Bird Blitz
8 - 10 a.m. Early Birds (Adults) Experience the best of the morning's
bird activity on the sanctuary's trails.
10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Birder's Boot Camp (Adults) Learn the basics of
birding while exploring the sanctuary. Improve your ability to identify
birds by sight and sound, and get tips on how to use binoculars and
field guides.
10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Flight School (Kids ages 5-8) Discover the wonders of
flying as we use games, crafts, activities, and hands-on projects to
explore birds' wings.
10:30 - 11:30 a.m. Fast and Furious Birding (Kids ages 9-12) Play
through a lightening round of our bird ID game and earn points as you
search the sanctuary for the most wanted birds.
1:30 - 2:30 p.m. Fledglings (Families with kids ages 2-5) Explore bird
nests and eggs in this Mommy-and-Me style program.
Programs above are free with membership or sanctuary admission.
Participants are welcome to register in advance or drop-in. Programs are
filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Please call 508-349-2615 or

First Nauset Marsh Discovery Cruise: Sunday, May 29, 10 a.m. - Noon
