Botany Walk at the D. Isabel Smith Monomoy River Conservation Lands
Saturday, June 18th, 10:00 am
Join botanist and Cape Codder environmental feature reporter Rich Eldred for a botany walk in the woods with views of Monomoy River (Muddy Creek).
Directions: From Route 39 take Bay Road one mile east. Parking lot is on right across from Blue Heron Landing.
Wild Edibles & Medicinal Plants at HCT’s Bank Street Bogs Nature Preserve

Join herbalist Donna Eaton of Cedar Spring Herb Farm for a walk at HCT's Bank Street Bogs Nature Preserve to learn about wild edible and medicinal plants.
Directions: From Rt. 39, take Bank St. 0.5 miles south to the Harwich Harbormaster’s Workshop on the left at #203 Bank Street. From Rte. 28, take Bank St. 0.7 miles north to the Harwich Harbormaster’s Workshop on the right.
Honeybee Hike at HCT's Bank St. Bogs Nature Preserve in Harwich Port

Join Harwich Conservation Trust volunteer beekeeper Kevin Minnigerode on a walk and talk about the fascinating lives of honeybees. Visit three hives to learn about beekeeping history, honeybee social behavior, biology and the challenges facing this critical pollinator. Rain cancels.
