Robert Finch, widely regarded as one of America's leading nature writers,
will read from a newly published collection of his weekly NPR radio
commentaries, A Cape Cod Notebook, at the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History
on Friday, July 15 at 7 pm.

The fee is $5/Member and $7/Non-Member.
 
There will be an author's wine and cheese "Meet the Author" reception after
the talk and Bob's newest book A Cape Cod Notebook will be available for
personalized signing.
 
Mr. Finch has lived on Cape Cod since 1971, has published eight books of
essays, and is co-editor of the Norton Book of Nature Writing. For his body
of work he was named as one of the New England Literary Lights for 1999 by
the Associates of the Boston Public Library, and in 2001 he received the
Non-Fiction Award from the New England Booksellers Association.
 
For the past six years Mr. Finch has written weekly radio commentaries for
WCAI, the Woods Hole NPR affiliate of Boston's WGBH, and received the
prestigious Edward R. Murrow Award for Radio Writing in 2005. 
 
He lives in Wellfleet with his wife, the writer Kathy Shorr.
