The Massachusetts Bays National Estuary Program is pleased to
announce a new grant program for communities within the Mass Bays
Program area (i.e., communities on Cape Cod Bay and Massachusetts
Bay). Please see the attached grant announcement for more
information. The RFP is posted at Comm-PASS.
Information sessions are being held in each of the five regions of
the Mass Bays Program (Upper North Shore, Salem Sound, Boston, South
Shore and Cape Cod).
For the Cape Cod region, an information session will be held on
Friday, November 5, 2010, from 10 am to 12 noon, at the Association
to Preserve Cape Cod (APCC), 3010 Main Street, Barnstable, MA 02630,
Phone 508-362-4226. APCC is the host organization for the Cape Cod
region of the Mass Bays Program. The meeting is co-hosted by the
Barnstable County Coastal Resources Committee, which is the local
governance committee for the Cape Cod region.
Directions to APCC:
From Cape Cod:
Take Route 6 to Exit 6 (Hyannis). At the end of the off-ramp, turn
onto Route 132 North and drive about ¾ mile north to Route 6A. Turn
right onto Route 6A eastbound and drive about 1.8 miles. Look for the
Barnstable House on your left; it is a 2-story white colonial house
with a sign. Park here and enter through the right-hand entrance.
APCC is located on the second floor. The meeting will be held in the
first-floor meeting room.
