On Sunday, November 7 from 3:00-5:00 pm the Cape Cod Museum of Natural
History in Brewster will present the book launch of Morning of Fire: John
Kendrick's Daring American Odyssey in the Pacific by Scott Ridley.  There
will be a Party, Book-signing, Brief Reading and Presentation. Free to the
public.
 
A true Cape Cod story like no other - Morning of Fire tells the full story
of John Kendrick's seven-year journey for the first time - from his
globe-rattling intrigues with Britain and Spain - to the thousand square
miles of land he owned on the Pacific coast a dozen years before Lewis and
Clark set out. Once known to Franklin, Jefferson and Washington - Kendrick
is about to resurface in a history book written with the drama and surprise
of a captivating, meticulously researched novel.
