Haunted Forests Enchant with Frights and Delights, Naturally!
Mass Audubon sanctuaries in Barnstable & Wellfleet offer Halloween fun.

South Wellfleet, MA. - Join your friends at Mass Audubon for walks
through Haunted & Enchanted Forests on Friday, October 30. Families can
choose from two separate walks that evening-the Enchanted Forest in
Barnstable at Mass Audubon's Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary and the
Haunted Forest in Wellfleet at the Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary.
These fun and some-what spooky walks wind along forest paths lined with
jack-o-lanterns and luminaries. On the way you will meet weird and
wonderful characters in the woods-some strange, some silly, and some
with much to say! Guided 60-90 minute walks leave every fifteen minutes
from the sanctuaries' Nature Centers starting at 5:45 pm at Wellfleet
Bay and 6:30 pm at Long Pasture. Refreshments round out the evening.

The Haunted and Enchanted Forests are supported by donations from local
businesses and volunteers. Ticket proceeds benefit children's
educational programming at both the Long Pasture and Wellfleet Bay
Wildlife Sanctuaries. Tickets are $8 for Mass Audubon members, $12 for
nonmembers, with discounts for children 12 years or under.

Space is limited so reservations are required for this very popular
event. For further information or to make reservations for the Enchanted
Forest in Barnstable, please call 508-362-7475. To reserve spaces in the
Haunted Forest at the Wellfleet Bay Wildlife Sanctuary in South
Wellfleet call 508-349-2615.
