INVITATION TO CAPE COD CELEBRATION
 
The Falmouth Service Center is a human services center on Cape Cod  that  
"walks the talk" for environmental protection on the coast of  Massachusetts. 
   The FSC has been an active supporter of organic  community gardening 
since 2002.   The FSC has supported weatherization  for many years.   
 
In the midst of the current recession, the FSC is especially important,  
because of its work with low-income families.    On Sunday  afternoon, July 
26,  there will be a fundraising event at the Falmouth  Service Center, so 
that the FSC can raise money for its own  weatherization....  By saving energy 
in its building, the FSC
can reduce its energy costs in order to increase funding for community  
services.   Also, the Falmouth Service Center can encourage other  non-profit 
organizations to  become more "green."
 
DATE and TIME:  Sunday, July 26th, from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm.
 
LOCATION:  Falmouth Service Center, 611 Gifford Street,  Falmouth.
 
EVENTS:  Barbecue, family entertainment, raffles....   Opportunities to 
visit community garden and to
                 talk with local environmentalists about community 
gardening and clean energy  issues.
